We have had a pretty good weekend so far, despite the problems I'm having breathing. Not sure if it's allergies or, heck, maybe nerves, or something else. However, I've been busy with helping Kettle adapt the first three top shelves of our large bookcase in the living room into a Faery Mansion... or so it seems. I'll have photos for you later this week but I'll give you a sneak peek now.
Okay, just so you know, it doesn't look anything like that now. Totally changed it around.
Anyway... Kettle was going out today and had on the sweetest outfit. Seems there is to be a late summer garden party this morning before the rains come (again) and spoil any chance of outdoor faery activities.
She came out in the sweetest, cutest, most lovely outfit. Since I am not allowed to photograph Kettle, I asked if it would be all right to take some photos of her outfits strung on some embroidery floss to show all my friends out in blogland. She said that would be more than all right and zoomed out to get me some of her fancies from the garden.
This is what Kettle wore today. A tiny flower for her hat, a begonia flower for her top and a petunia for her skirt.
Aren't these just the prettiest little faery outfits?
This rose and geranium outfit has the most lovely aroma.
Well, Kettle's off to her garden party and I'm off to make lunch with my hubby and spend a day relaxing and enjoying some of the more intricate work that goes into helping to build an house faery home.
Enjoy your weekend, my friends!
